Video: Broccoli: Antioxidant Rich In Vitamins And Anti-cancer?

Watching my two little nephews, 3 and 1 and a half, eat is fascinating. My sister and brother-in-law - and my devoted mother who cared for them - have taught them to eat vegetables. They love broccoli, onion, and carrot.
It is rare that children like this vegetable, but it is very good for health. When you ingest it, it gives you a feeling of satisfaction and almost instantaneous fullness; that makes you eat less. In addition, it has antioxidant properties and a high content of zinc, vitamin A and K. In other words, it prevents aging, therefore it contributes to healthy and more elastic skin. Likewise, it strengthens the functioning of our metabolism, causing the organs to work better, in general terms.
Also, according to naturists, broccoli has anti-cancer properties. Inclusively, a study of the University of Michigan, published by the Clinical Cancer Research -performed in mice- revealed that "a compound of broccoli seems to kill off breast cancer stem cells, which help in the growth of tumors".
The scientists verified how many breast cancer stem cells a group of mice had and gave him sulforaphane. They then conducted tests and found that there were fewer stem cells and no new tumors had emerged, says the note from the US Department of Health and Human Services, including Dr. Max S. Wicha, study co-author and director. The university's Comprehensive Oncology Center said this treatment "could be combined with other compounds to target breast cancer stem cells."
Remember to consume food in moderation and before carrying out any treatment consult your doctor.
