Who is not interested in a flat stomach with defined muscles? Today, the muscles of the abdomen have come to occupy a place of honor in the gallery of images that are used to represent both a good physical shape and a strong sensual attraction. Exercising men chase it, and those who reach it often display it with pride as a peacock tail. But the dream of having a perfect six pack is no longer male territory. Today, there are also many women who are not satisfied with removing the tummy, but also want to have an athletic-looking abdomen.
There are countless exercise routines to strengthen that area of the body that, accompanied by an appropriate diet, tend to bear fruit relatively quickly. But in addition to the aesthetic advantages and contrary to what some people think (among which I was counted until recently), strengthening the abdominal muscles can also help to avoid and eliminate waist pain or lower back discomfort. Those of us who work sitting down are prone to frequent it, and my reaction whenever it affected me was to stop doing the abs.
However, since I am dedicating more time and effort to the abdomen, and considering what type of exercises and activities are more indicated, I do not remember the last time my waist hurt. Of course, keep in mind that waist pain can have many causes and some are very delicate. So you should check with your doctor before beginning any exercise program that could make your situation worse.
