It's mosquito season! Amid the humidity, the mosquito population proliferates and with it its uncomfortable bites.
As long as the bites that are present are of a normal size, are not hotter or redder than usual or are accompanied by other symptoms that may indicate extreme allergy or intoxication, there are several alternatives to treat mosquito bites.
After the bite:
Apply ice packs to deflate the bite. Cut a fresh lemon and put a few drops of it on the affected area. The ethyl alcohol sold in drugstores is also effective in stopping itching. Vicks Vaporub ointment is effective not only for respiratory discomfort but also for treating and preventing mosquito bites. Applying clay compresses and letting them dry will not only help you stop the itching, but it will prevent the bites from becoming infected. Hypoallergenic Liquid Body Soap offers instant relief, just apply it to your pimples. As drugstore remedies there is Neosporin and my personal recommendation is Caladryl, which comes in original and transparent presentations.
