Video: Practice Gratitude And Letting Go And Enjoy Your In Peace And Quiet
Negative thoughts can create frustration, anxiety, depression, pain, and anguish. While positive thoughts improve your mood, spirit and tend to further generate positivity and happiness in your life.
Letting go of thoughts, habits or people that do not serve us, is seldom easily accomplished; However, it does not have to be difficult; in fact, it becomes easier and easier as we learn to accept, appreciate and love ourselves for who we are and for what we are not. Remember that you cannot expect others to give you what you cannot give yourself.
To get started:
Let go of the negative way you think and the words you say to yourself. When was the last time you said something positive to yourself? Instead of blaming yourself or verbally attacking you with words like "I'm not going to make it" or "I'm not fit enough to achieve my purposes", why not replace those thoughts with "yes I can", "I'm going to fight for what what do I want”, etc.?
Let go of the comparison. Do not compare yourself with others. Remember that each person is fighting their own battle. The fact that another person has achieved what you have not been able to do does not mean that you cannot do it. When we compare ourselves to others, we focus on each other's achievements instead of ours. There is a difference between admiration and comparison. Strive to admire and not compare.
Practice gratitude and forgiveness. When you forgive, you let go of all the things or people that cause you pain, stress, anxiety, fear and sadness and you learn to give thanks for the many gifts that life has offered you so far. Keep a gratitude journal and write down at least three things every day for which you are grateful and you will realize how blessed you are.
When we learn to transform limiting thoughts and patterns into positive thoughts, that not only makes us happier, it also allows our lives to flow with more peace and quiet.
