We will probably spend months and months looking forward to spring to forget about coats and sweaters. With its good temperatures, light clothing and outdoor activities, it is undoubtedly one of the best seasons of the year. However, all that glitters is not gold and spring often brings annoying spring allergies. The most common: to pollen, because during the winter humidity levels rise and cause trees to produce more pollen. With this allergy come itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose, discomfort and tiredness. The downside of all this is that you can do little when the allergy has reached you, what you can do is prepare a while beforehand to try to alleviate its symptoms:
1- Go to the doctor: It is essential that you make an appointment with your allergist to analyze the state of your allergy and can advise you well. Never forget that they are the experts, not the internet. So worry about visiting it first and then find all the parallel information you want, but it is best to be in good hands first of all.
2- Workout: If you are allergic and exercise regularly, you should leave it for the hours of the night or for the days that are more rainy and humid. Do not think of doing your workout in other conditions because your allergy could be reinforced. The periods of highest pollen concentration are from 4:00 to 5:00 pm
Goodbye to the gym? A pill could replace exercise
3- Daily cleaning: Before going to bed, always try to take a shower to remove all the small pollen residues that your body may have. There is nothing more uncomfortable than sleeping with the annoying symptoms of a spring allergy.
According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, there are 35 million people in the United States who are allergic to pollen.
