L'Oréal today announced the launch of Beaumoji, a keyboard with 130 fun emoticons created exclusively for beauty-related conversations.
The new app includes five different categories: It Girl, which illustrates new beauty trends like ombré lips and pastel hair; Pampered Life, offers characters enjoying some beauty experience; Iconic displays iconic makeup products such as Urban Decay NAKED Palette, Clarisonic, Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara, and L'Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray; ' BeYOUtiful ', these emojis encourage users to express their personal style; and Love, which includes gestures that express enthusiasm for the world of beauty.
To celebrate the launch, L'Oréal announced an emoji design contest, inviting consumers to create their own beaumojis using the hashtag #BeaumojiContest. The winners will receive a trip to New York for one night as a prize, and they will be VIP guests of the Beautycon Festival New York. Here the winning emojis will be featured.
The new application can be downloaded for free on both Android and iOS, and emojis will be updated each season with new trends.
