SM: What diet do you follow to be healthy and fit?
JA: Hydration is very important, I also try to avoid packaged and processed foods. Something I love about Zico coconut water is that it only has one ingredient, and it is pure. In addition, it is an excellent source of hydration. I feel that being hydrated increases my energy level, improves the appearance of my skin and helps my digestive system. I like to experiment with food, visit ethnic restaurants and try local and organic food when I travel.
SM: What is your favorite way to exercise?
JA: I try to do a little bit of everything, but I prefer group exercises. Sometimes I run, or do hot yoga with weights; Other times I take cycling lessons in a warm room with loud hip hop music. I don't like exercising alone, I enjoy it more with the energy of other people.
SM: How do you take care of your skin?
JA: I exfoliate myself with a konjac sponge or an electric brush to awaken the skin, then I use the Everything Organic Facial Oil (available in January) and the Younger Face Deep Hydration Cream from my line, Honest Beauty. I also use a moisturizing spray. If my skin feels very dry, I go to the fabric masks for the eye area, by Joanna Vargas. At night I always wash my face well and hydrate it.

SM: What are your beauty essentials on the go?
JA: I almost always carry with me a concealer for dark circles, a cream blush and the balm, Magic Balm of my brand, which I apply on the bridge of the nose, the upper part of the cheekbones and on the lips. If I don't have a blush, put on some lip gloss or a lip crayon.
SM: Do you have any beauty and wellness purpose for 2017?
JA: I want to meditate more and have a more consistent exercise routine. It is difficult because my schedule always changes and it is difficult to find the balance between work and family time.
