Open pores are a nightmare we all want to “wake up from”. If you suffer from them, it is perhaps because you have oily skin, you produce more sebum and it is easier for acne and blackheads to appear. Not only does skin type influence its appearance, so do factors such as stress, sun exposure and genetics.
To close your pores there are beauty products on the market and also those natural ones that you have on hand because they are in your kitchen. Do you bet on them? Why not!
Before learning the correct way to apply them, it is necessary to follow a series of steps to prepare the skin.
Exfoliates twice a week: To remove all those dead cells and dirt from the environment that clog pores and promote the appearance of the much hated black spots. To do this, use a cotton cloth and dampen it with warm water. Gently cleanses.
Submit your face to a steam bath a week: Because it opens the pores and removes impurities. To do it you just have to put a pot of boiling water. When it is boiling, you remove it from the heat, bring your face closer and cover your head with a towel. Then rinse with warm water and pat dry gently.
To close the pores with homemade masks
I have a plant at home and I had not realized that it was used for this. Very good to know! It works because this green leafy plant has properties to heal, control blemishes, and protect your dermis from external agents.
Applying it is really easy. You just have to open one of its leaves, extract the gel and apply it to the face. Let it dry and then rinse with warm water.
2. Lemon juice
The first instruction we give you is to use it at night because when the lemon skin is exposed to the sun, it tends to stain. It is recommended to mix it with pineapple juice. Spread it with a cotton ball, leave this mask to work for 15 minutes and then remove it with cold water. Subsequently, apply the moisturizer that you use normally.
3. Apple cider vinegar
It has the ability to work as an astringent and toner, which makes the skin on your face firm, pH balanced, and therefore the pores do not open.
How to use it? Okay, mix one cup of apple cider vinegar with one cup of water. Wet a cloth with this mixture and wipe it all over your face. Let sit for 5 minutes and rinse as usual. Use moisturizer afterwards and do this process preferably before going to sleep.
5. Baking soda
Make a paste by mixing baking soda and warm water in equal parts. Now, apply it to the entire face in circular movements, massage for 30 seconds and remove with water. Apply this mask for a whole week and the subsequent ones reduce to three times a week.
It is an exfoliant, in addition to being economical, very effective because it removes the excess oil that the skin produces, prevents the production of sebum and eliminates imperfections (black spots).
One way to prepare a mask with table sugar is to mix two teaspoons, one teaspoon of olive oil and 1/4 lemon. Rub gently for 30 seconds and rinse with cold water. Repeat this mask once or twice a week.
6. Ice cubes
Believe it or not! Ice rejuvenates, prevents acne, stimulates circulation, deflates puffy eyes, fights dark circles and, of course, closes open pores.
Take some ice cubes out of the fridge and wrap them in a clean cloth. Massage your face for 30 seconds maximum. Do it several times a week to notice excellent results. One way to enhance this technique is for the ice cubes to be prepared with green tea, cucumber or apple juice.
7. Egg white
You will be surprised to know that its "sticky" consistency works wonders on your face and you will want to use it now. Its properties not only work to give shine to the hair, it also tones the skin and closes the pores. With beat an egg white with a fork, apply it on the face, leave it to act for 20 minutes and then wash with cold water, enough. Do it three times a week!
