Venezuelan designer Carolina Herrera's show for fall / winter 09 stood out for vibrant colors such as orange, greenish blue and bright yellow, as well as for her silhouettes designed for cocktails and her beautiful use of ruffles in most of your dresses. Makeup, meanwhile, focused on contrasts. "The look is dramatic with a touch of softness," says Diane Kendal, the MAC makeup artist in charge of creating the look for the show. "The inspiration for the collection was Boticelli and the contrast of black and white, so the look is a contrast between stunning eyes and soft lips."
