Video: Fashion Week In New York: Carolina Herrera's Look

This spring, the inspiration behind the Venezuelan designer's collection was traditional Korean clothing, and flowers from botanical dishes collected in the 18th century. Although Carolina is recognized for the simplicity and elegance of her designs, this collection was a proposal that included striking details such as floral prints, delicate applications in crystals and, as a focus point, wonderful hats (traditionally worn by men in Korea) as well as wraparound seatbelts.
The makeup look was done by the talented Diane Kendall for MAC, who created a stunning brick-colored eye look to complement the outfit. On her eyes, she put the Brick Eye Pencil eyeliner, blurred from the lash line to the crease of the eyelid, and then to the outer corners of the eyes. She then applied Antique Eye Shadow on top of the liner to further extend the horizontal direction of the liner, the Diva lipstick on the inside and outside of the creases to define, and Black Haute and Naughty Mascara on well curled lashes. On her lips she used the Sugar Rimmed Dazzleglass with the 231 brush and, on the cheeks and blending out, the Pinch 'O Peach Powder Blush blush.
The wonderful hairstyles were created by the stylist Orlando Pita who put together tails, half-tails and collected with the help of rectangular hooks that, in addition to holding the hair, served as showy hair accessories.
