Fashion Week In NY: The Heart Truth Show

Last night I was in the parade of The Heart Truth, the campaign whose purpose is to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease. More than a parade, it was a delightful show to be able to see all these famous people walking, many of them, for the first time on the catwalks, full of grace, solidarity and humor. The objective of the parade, each year, is to unite artists and the best American designers to motivate women to implement changes in their lives so that these diseases decrease. Among the Latinas who paraded, was the beautiful Brazilian model Camila Alves (accompanied by her partner, actor Matthew McConaughey) who wore a sexy and elegant dress by designer Kaufman Franco, and actress Dania Ramírez, in a dress by designer Catherine Malandrino. And among the Americans we could see the singer Patti LaBelle, the boxer Laila Ali, the journalist Ann Curry and the actress Linda Gray, among others. A fun night in which the Red Dress (red dress), symbol of the campaign, was the well-deserved protagonist.
