“Armor” In The Hervé Léger By Max Azria Fall Show

One of the shows I enjoyed the most last week was the one by this brand, known for its satin girdle-like creations. I love these dresses, the way they wrap the body and put the figure together in an elegant and unusual way. Precisely, it is the element of the tight sash that distinguishes Hervé Léger from the rest and has given him the identity that so many recognize and praise. And although it might seem like a repetitive element, Max and Lubov Azria have known how to explore the concept from every possible angle, every season, and the result is one that instead of boring, enchants. This fall the idea behind the collection was an air of “inimitable armor” (according to the program) and that translated into the great use of gold and silver hardware as part of the design. There were dresses entirely embroidered with golden rectangles whose reflections created a super glamorous effect. In others, an air of S&M could be perceived in the straps that crossed the neck, shoulders and up to the chest. The boots with appropriate silver heels were perfect with the reflection of the dresses. A very fine collection, very modern and very sexy!
