The winter season is approaching and it is time to think of hats as something more than a necessity, they are a garment that complements your look and make you look very sophisticated. They are in fashion, Sienna Miller, Jennifer López and Pete Doherty are some of the celebrities who wear this trend.

There are many types of hats, of all prices, materials and shapes. The main novelty is that they come in intense colors and with details such as feathers and bows. Keep in mind that wide-brimmed and low-crowned tends tend to look best on long faces; while the tall and short brimmed ones look best on round faces. The important thing is to find one that suits your style.

1. Wide-brimmed hat (Amish hat): Dior showed this style in vintage materials and intense colors during the Fall-Winter 2012 show. You can use it for the weekend, combine it with sunglasses, bell-bottom pants and a loose top for a totally boho-chic look.

2. Beret: They are ideal for the newspaper and can be made of wool, cloth or cloth. The trick to not looking like a granny is to let your hair show and have the beret position behind the head.

3. Round and small: Fedoras never go out of style, it is a model that can be worn with any garment. You just have to combine the material and color with your accessories.
