In 2014, Koral emerged, a brand with a line of elegant and modern sportswear that until then did not exist. Founded by Brazilian-born Ilana Kugel, the brand draws inspiration from both the streets of Rio and California's laid-back lifestyle, resulting in a unique range of contemporary and cutting-edge sports bras, vests, leggings and sweatshirts.. “Because I'm from Brazil, I've always had this mindset and lifestyle that revolves around the beach and physical activity,” says Kugel, “I grew up wearing leggings. For me, it was very natural to design sportswear”.

Koral follows a calendar with four collections released each year, all based on the principle of being able to wear them to wear or play sports. “They are designs so that you can use the garments in different settings. When you buy something that is high quality and more expensive, you need to be able to use it in more places than the gym, says Kugel in a press release.

Celebrities like Gigi, Khloe Kardashian, and Alessandra Ambrosio bring Ilana's pants and tops to the streets, mixing and matching them with high-end contemporary pieces.
