Taking advantage of Earth Day, which is celebrated this April 22, we want to highlight a sustainable bag brand that, in addition to helping conserve the planet through its sustainable production, have a very chic and elegant design that has conquered us.

Fe Handbags is a line of handbags and accessories designed by the Colombian Valentina Palacios. The models of this brand are made in collaboration with artisan women from the Embená Chamí, Gunadules and Wayuu indigenous communities who are in charge of developing the applications with their traditional tribal patterns that give each bag a special touch, which, in turn, are modern design.

Since 2016, this young Antioquia costume designer has had faith in indigenous talent to carry out her business. The designer told us that her creations come from a study of fashion trends and what is being used. Then she makes a collection mix establishing colors, patterns and silhouettes to work and based on that, some designs are made, always respecting the culture, the symbolism and the patterns that the indigenous women use.

In addition to supporting working women and using durable materials that do not pollute the environment, Fe Handbags wants to make clear how important sustainable fashion is through its products.
